Welcome to Wirral, one of the most beautiful places in the UK
Working in Heswall on the Wirral is nothing but delightful. So many good things to say about the peninsula. Surrounded by 22 miles of the most beautiful coastline, no matter where you are, you are never far from a beach which is one of the reasons it is known as the leisure peninsula.
The Wirral is the only place in mainland Britain with documented evidence of Norwegian Viking settlers. Leasowe lighthouse is the oldest surviving brick build lighthouse in the UK being built in 1793. We have 1900 listed buildings, 5 nature reserves and many lovely towns and villages so take a little look around while you are here.
Heswall
The history of Heswall goes beyond the domesday book and it began as a small village of farmers and fishermen.
Today it is a little more modern so if you fancy a cup of coffee while you are here then Heswall with its cafe culture is the place to go with a myriad of establishments to choose from. There are also many independent shops as well as some well known high street names.
As for me I am located in Heswall Hills Counselling Centre. Established now for several years. Plenty of free parking. Beautifully furnished rooms. Tea and coffee facilities. Accessible rooms available downstairs in Heswall Spaces.
Opposite Heswall train station with easy access to Heswall town centre.
